Jeyas - Carrot And Tomato Puri

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups - whole wheat flour, 1 cup - grated Carrots, 1 cup - pureed Tomatoes, 1/2 tsp - carom seeds, 1 tsp - Red Chilli Powder, Chaat Masala - 2 tsp, Salt to taste, 2 tsp Oil + for deep frying.

Procedure:
Combine the flour, carrots, carom seeds, chilli powder, chaat masala, salt and two tablespoons oil in a dough maker. Add pureed tomatoes and knead into stiff dough. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into pedas. Roll out each peda into puri.
Heat sufficients oil in a kadai and deep-fry each puri, on medium heat, till crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. serve hot.
