Ingredients:
Jeyas Pearl Millet – 5 cups, Milk, Jeyas Mustard, Urad Dal,
Asafoetida, Oil – 2 tsp, Curd, green Chili - 2, Jeyas Dry Red Chilli – 2, salt and little water.
Procedure:
Add some water to one bowl of Pearl Millet, mix it nicely.
After a few minutes, put it in mixie and grind it twice, then spread it on a plate and Remove the skin of Pearl Millet by blowing on it, then break it till it looks like semolina (coarse mix) using mixie.
Take that mix add 5 bowls of water to it and pressure cook it till 4 or 5 whistles, after releasing all steam add 1 ½ cups of Milk to it. Keep it aside
Heat up a kadai or skillet on stove till its dry, add two tablespoons of Oil to it, add 1 tablespoon of Mustard, Urad Dal and Asafoetida and fry them, once they turn golden brown, add curry leaves and dry Red Chilli, 2 Green Chillies, sliced Ginger to it and continue deep frying, add this mix to the grinded Pearl Millet we have kept aside,
Add Salt, Curd and Water according to your need to it.
A hugely tasty, aromatic and healthy dish is ready to be served.
