Ingredients:
Tomato - 2, Ginger an inch of sliced piece,
Dal mixed with Water – 2 bowls (you can prepare this by boiling 50 g of dal with water)
Jeyas Turmeric Powder, Jeyas Tamarind a Little ball, Garlic - 2 pieces,
Jeyas Cumin ½ teaspoon, Asafoetida - a small piece (crushed), Jeyas Coriander leaves as per your need,
Curry Leaves, Jeyas Mustard a teaspoon, Ghee – 1 teaspoon, Salt - as per your need.
Procedure:
Slice the Tomatoes, crush the Ginger and keep them aside
Mix the Garlic, Cumin, Mustard and grind them using mixie or grindstone, make it a paste and keep it aside again.
In a clay pot or skillet, pour the Ghee add Mustard, Asafoetida and fry them, dry roast while adding sliced tomatoes, crushed Ginger and Turmeric powder, then add Tamarind, Salt (as per your need) and Dal water. Before it boils add the paste from the mixie to it, once it starts boiling, add Coriander and curry leaves and switch off the stove. Serve while hot.
